What we do
Schick has built a highly experienced team of civil operators and project managers with a wide range of roading related skills and expertise. We are an accreditated contractor for a range of councils across the central north island and Canterbury region. We have completed safe roads and general maintenance projects for Waka Kotahi (NZTA) as well building new roads for subdivision developments. Our experience ranges from the construction of major artial roads, large scale roundabouts, to general road repairs and upgrades to cycleways and general urbanisation projects.
Case Studies
Ruakura Spine Road Project
This major transport project borders the Ruakura Superhub, and once complete will be a key connection from the Waikato Expressway to Ruakura and existing city roads.
Ngongotahā Roundabout Improvements
The upgrade work completed by Schick provided a safer intersection and better traffic flow for road users, addressed community concerns around safety as well as congestion at peak times.
Dixon Road Roundabout Project
The new roundabout not only acts as a gateway into the new neighbourhood of Peacocke, it also improved safety on Ohaupo Road/State Highway 3 and for vehicles turning in and out of Dixon Road.
